# ScrapingBee Amazon Product API

> Retrieve structured details for one Amazon product.

## Endpoint and authentication

- Endpoint: `https://app.scrapingbee.com/api/v1/amazon/product`
- Required input: `query`, containing a 10-character ASIN.
- Authentication: `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY`.
- The `api_key` query parameter remains supported for backward compatibility but is deprecated for new integrations.
- Response format: structured JSON.

## Request controls

## Constraints and behavior

- Do not send `country` matching the selected Amazon-domain country, for example `country=fr&domain=fr`; use `zip_code` instead. The matching pair returns `400`.
- Light requests do not use a browser and can omit dynamic content such as reviews. Use `light_request=false` when completeness matters.
- `screenshot=true` costs 15 credits, ignores `light_request`, and returns a base64-encoded image.
- The source front matter claims `parse=false` returns HTML but does not define the parameter in the endpoint contract. Use `add_html=true` for documented HTML output.

## Cost, retries, and response

- Cost: 5 credits for a successful light request or 15 for a rendered request.
- Failed requests are retried by ScrapingBee for up to 30 seconds; account for that server-side retry window in client timeouts.
- Response fields include `asin`, `asin_in_url`, `title`, `price`, `currency`, buy-box and pricing details, rating/review data, `brand`, `bullet_points`, `images`, `variations`, `product_details`, `delivery`, `stock`, `sales_rank`, and optional `html` when `add_html=true`. Additional source fields such as offers, category, coupon/discount, product overview, and technical details can be absent or null by product.
