ScrapingBee is joining Oxylabs’ group

19 June 2025 | 2 min read

Today, we’re incredibly proud and excited to announce that ScrapingBee has officially become part of Oxylabs’ group.

Oxylabs’ company group already offers a variety of industry-leading proxy and data gathering solutions. Through this acquisition, they aim to strengthen their position as a market leader while helping elevate the web scraping industry as a whole.

At ScrapingBee, our mission has always been to offer a transparent, easy-to-use, and high-performance web scraping solution.

As part of Oxylabs’ group, ScrapingBee will make it easier for developers to scrape the web at scale.

Today, we serve thousands of customers who rely on our service for both personal and professional projects.

Here is what will change and what will stay the same following this acquisition:

1. No Price Increase. Actually, the Opposite!

Your current subscription plan stays the same. In fact, thanks to infrastructure and performance optimizations, we’re now able to lower costs on specific products.

Starting today, all Google API calls (Google Search API and HTML API) will cost 15 credits instead of 25.

2. Faster and More Responsive Support

Customer support has always been one of ScrapingBee’s core strengths. Naturally, becoming part of a larger group allowed us to more than double our support team, helping us cover more time zones and provide faster response times across the board.

3. Improved Scraping Performance

It’s no secret: By becoming part of a much larger team with already deep scraping expertise, we can leverage industry-leading knowledge to make our scrapers faster and more reliable. The first wave of performance improvements will begin rolling out throughout June.

The future of ScrapingBee

ScrapingBee will keep operating as a separate product and entity. Pierre and Kevin will stay in the company and the team is already growing like crazy to make ScrapingBee the best web scraping API in its category.

We firmly believe that Oxylabs’ group of companies is the best home from ScrapingBee, and we’re confident that this acquisition will be a net positive for our customers, our team and the company.
